Wessex Institute of Technology is located in England within New Forest National Park. The institute was founded by Professor Carlos Brebbia in 1986 who, after serving as Professor of Engineering at the University of California, decided to open Wessex Institute. Brebbia has a well-known reputation as a leader in the Engineering Industry. In fact, he was the creator of the Boundary Element Method and has contributed to many scientific papers and books.
